About Pat Vasquez-Cunningham

Pat Vasquez-Cunningham is a photographer with 17 years of professional experience based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His images have received awards from the Associated Press, the National Press Photographers Association, the New Mexico Press Association and the New Mexico Associated Press Managing Editors. While on vacation at Bandelier National Monument in 1994, Vasquez-Cunningham was so taken by the magnitude of the grand vistas and unique cultural diversity New Mexico offered that he soon moved from his home state of Connecticut to the Land of Enchantment. His passion is photography, and the journey has taken him to Southeast Asia, Europe, South America and Mexico. He makes a mean tortilla soup, and restores antique cars in his spare time.
